Gillian Hailstones, Centre Head at Maggie's Glasgow said: "It is all too common for a diagnosis of cancer to have a negative impact on household income - for patient and carer alike - yet many people are unaware of the entitlements they may have.   Thanks to the donation from the Santander Foundation we have been able to appoint a new advisor to help local people obtain the financial assistance they are entitled to."

Anoushka Brown, Communications Manager at Santander said: "We are always on the look out for good causes that need help.  The support and services provided by Maggie's Centre are second to none and we are delighted to have been able to assist them in appointing a new advisor."
